Students in Crisis

Students experiencing a crisis that requires immediate attention may speak with a counselor at any time 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. During our regular business hours (Monday-Friday 8-5), students may call 404-894-2575 or drop by the Center and identify that they are in crisis. After hours, students may access the crisis counseling by calling The Georgia Tech Campus Police (GTPD) and asking to speak to the Counselor-on-Call.  The number for GTPD is 404-894-2500.

Students who are experiencing an immediate life-threatening emergency should call 911 or, if on campus, call the Georgia Tech Campus Police at 404-894-2500.

Other Crisis Resources:

The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
